ABOUT ANNE

Anne Fink Design creates smart and powerful visual solutions. With a client list ranging from The New Press to Swoon, she designs book jackets, annual reports, branding, special events materials, and packaging. Using her skills as a designer, photographer and researcher, her projects are surprising, memorable; based in concept and content.

 

Anne’s work has been honored by the American Institute of Graphic Arts, and is part of the permament collection of the Columbia University Rare Book Collection. Her photographs have been exhibited at institutions including the International Center of Photography, the Art Institute of Chicago, Soho Photo Gallery, and Brooklyn Fireproof Gallery. She has taught graphic design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Parsons School of Design, and currently teaches at both Pratt Institute and City College/CUNY.

In addition to her work as a designer/photographer/professor, she has co-authored six books on graphic design with Steven Heller including, Covers and Jackets, Faces on the Edge: Type in the Digital Age, Food Wrap, and Less is More, the New Simplicity in Graphic Design
